Treatment Coordinator – Family Dental Care | Cape Coral, FL
Family Dental Care is a privately owned dental practice in Cape Coral built around one standard: doing what is right for the patient, every time. We operate Monday through Thursday, run a fully digital clinical workflow, and are growing intentionally. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator who wants to be part of something being built, not just fill a seat.
The Role
This position is the connective tissue between clinical care and patient commitment. You will own case presentation support, treatment plan follow-up, patient financing, and front desk operations. You will be the reason a patient says yes to care they need and the reason they come back. If case acceptance and patient experience metrics move, it is largely because of you.
What You Will Do
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and reactivate patients with open cases
- Guide patients through financing options including third-party financing
- Support membership plan enrollment and patient education
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling, check-in, and checkout
- File out-of-network claims on behalf of patients for applicable insurance plans
- Work directly in Dentrix for patient records, treatment planning, and scheduling
What We Are Looking For
- 3 or more years of dental office experience with direct treatment coordination or case presentation
- Experience presenting treatment value independent of insurance benefit levels
- Dentrix proficiency required
- Familiarity with out-of-network insurance filing and patient benefit explanation
- Familiarity with digital clinical workflows; intraoral scanner experience is a plus
- Dental insurance billing knowledge preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: warm with patients, precise with follow-through
- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities without dropping detail
