What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Therapist PART-TIME position at Family Counseling Service?
Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:
- Evening hours availability (3pm to 9pm are high volume client hours)
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Licensed or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or experience therein.
- LCSW or LCPC
- Enjoys a variety of clients with a special interest in the geriatric population.

FCS invites you to apply to join our team of Behavioral Healthcare and mentoring professionals. We are currently seeking new part-time licensed or registered Clinicians at both our Aurora and Oswego offices.
The agency is comprised of Clinicians and Administrative Employees who work together within a supportive team environment. FCS provides administrative support for marketing and referrals, scheduling appointments, onsite billing and credentialing. Both early career and seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply.
Behavioral Health Therapist Responsibilities:
- The provision of behavioral health counseling and education services to agency clients. This will include assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group services.
- All therapists will be expected to work in a variety of agency programs and in various settings, both in and out of the agency office.
- Individuals, couples, families, school-based, play therapy, etc. (Training provided at no cost to employee)
Schedule:
Position hours include availability for days and evenings (Monday - Thursday, Saturday days only). Day hours are primarily for Violence Intervention Services and School-Based Behavioral Health Services.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from a clinical program at an accredited school.
- LCSW or LCPC required. ALMFT or LMFT also may apply
