Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. This role supports the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth of each child through intentional teaching practices and play-based learning.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of children at all times.
Plan and implement age appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development
Foster positive relationships with children, families and staff
Maintain a clean, organized and engaging classroom environment
Support the lead teacher or director in daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting and rest time
Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required
Schedule Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm.
