Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located in Buffalo, NY. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, including conducting medical assessments, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, managing chronic and acute conditions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Medical expertise in patient care, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare documentation tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism
- Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Valid state license and prescriptive authority
- Experience in a university healthcare setting or student health is a plus
