OKC/Norman Area - The Team Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive behavioral health services. This role ensures the provision of high-quality, timely, and coordinated care across programs, using evidence-based practices and data-driven approaches. The position is responsible for effective staff supervision, fostering collaboration, and supporting positive client outcomes within the CCBHC model of care.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Oversee and support daily operations of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise assigned staff including case managers, care coordinators, PRSS, and administrative support.
  • Conduct regular team huddles and case staffing to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • Ensure team performance and service delivery align with organizational expectations.
  • Ensure services are accessible, timely, and client centered.
  • Lead efforts to engage hard-to-reach clients and those with high-risk needs.
  • Facilitate referrals and integration with physical health, psychiatric, and other supportive services.
  • Address clients' needs promptly, including medical, housing, and crisis-related support.
  • Analyze and disseminate data to guide service planning and staff priorities.
  • Use service utilization and quality metrics to inform client care and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate reporting and identify gaps or trends.
  • Monitor staff caseloads and adjust assignments to maintain equity and efficiency.
  • Identify barriers to service delivery and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, state, and payer documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal departments and leadership.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for staffing and resource needs in collaboration with leadership. 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Master's Degree in related field is required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years' experience in mental health care.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Must be under licensure supervision and/or license eligible.

  • Trauma-Informed Care – Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and their application in service delivery and team supervision.
  • Crisis Intervention – Awareness of crisis de-escalation techniques and emergency response procedures.
  • Clinical Supervision Models – Understanding of effective supervision practices, including reflective supervision and performance management.
  • Cultural Competency – Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic factors impacting mental health care.
  • Leadership and Team Building – Ability to inspire, guide, and support staff, promote collaboration, and address conflict constructively.
  • Communication – Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, feedback delivery, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Problem-Solving – Ability to assess situations, make decisions under pressure, and implement effective solutions.
  • Time Management – Skill in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and balancing administrative and supervisory duties.
  • Coaching and Mentorship – Competency in developing staff, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating professional growth.

  • Handle Sensitive Situations with Diplomacy – Remain calm and objective when managing performance concerns, staff grievances, or client crises

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • ODMHSAS Case Manager II Certification, completed within 60 days of eligibility.
  • ODMHSAS PRSS Supervisor Training, one time course completed within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be under supervision for LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or other mental health professional

SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:

This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.  Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.  Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.  Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
