Merchandiser

The Merchandiser will be responsible for handling and maintaining the store's inventory levels and product displays. The position will submit warehouse inventory reports, clear any unwanted products from displays, and monitor the sales performance of products.

Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities

• Maintain store shelves and monitor store inventory.
  • Ensure all end caps, sidekicks, clip strips, and raceway are restocked with the correct merchandise.
  • Arrange, price, and rotate products in store.
  • Remove dated or damaged products from store shelves as needed.
  • Assemble merchandise as needed.
  • Create, print, cut and sort sale signage and hang as needed.
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
  • Produce layout plans for stores.
• Set the hot deal and featured power tool of the week.
• Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and best sellers.
• Make recommendation for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.
• Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors.
• Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
