Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' functional abilities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions in various settings including acute care, home health, and outpatient facilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and strategies for improvement.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Assist in early intervention programs for children with developmental delays.
- Support geriatric patients in maintaining their independence through tailored therapeutic activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in occupational health practices.
- Experience working with geriatrics, pediatrics, and in acute care settings.
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with ICU protocols and patient care standards.
- Strong ability to assist patients in developing daily living skills.
- Competence in creating effective care plans based on individual assessments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
