What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Family Brands LLC?
Family Brands, LLC is a food manufacturing facility located in Lenoir City, TN. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment, identifying problems, making repairs, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and other industrial equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and changeovers
- Perform basic welding and fabrication when needed
- Document maintenance and repairs
- Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve equipment issues
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all plant safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Industrial maintenance or industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial production equipment
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to read basic schematics and equipment manuals
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and determine the cause of mechanical problems
- Commitment to workplace safety and LOTO procedures
Preferred:
- Food manufacturing experience
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Preventive maintenance experience
