What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Salesperson / Finance Assistant position at Family Automotive Service Center?
We’re looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, understands how to connect with customers both in person and online, and has an eye for marketing. The ideal candidate will manage the sales process from greeting customers to closing deals — while also assisting with financing applications and posting engaging ads on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and CarGurus.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in, phone, and online customers with a friendly, professional attitude
- Create and post eye-catching ads on Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, CarGurus, and other social platforms
- Take quality photos and short videos of vehicles for listings and promotions
- Follow up on internet leads and phone inquiries using our CRM
- Work with banks and finance companies to help customers secure loans and approvals
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom and vehicle lot
- Support the dealership’s growth goals through consistent follow-up and lead management
Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience preferred, but we will train the right person
- Basic understanding of social media marketing and online listings (Facebook, Instagram, CarGurus)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable, honest, and goal-driven
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Compensation
- Base pay commission (negotiable based on experience)
- Expected earnings: $50,000–$90,000 annually
- Bonuses for performance and lead conversions

- Full-time position (including Saturdays)
