What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at Family and Cosmetic Dentistry?
Perform routine dental procedures such as non-amalgam fillings, crowns extractions, and 1 or 2 rooted endodontic treatment and dental prostheses. Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings - Diagnose and treat or refer oral diseases and conditions - Develop treatment plans - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Requirements: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree - State dental license - Proficiency in dental imaging software (e.g., Dexis) for diagnosing and treating dental conditions - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
