Private Primary Care Clinic | Beaches Area | Full-Time Position

Our established private primary care clinic in the Beaches area is seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused team member to join our practice. This is a full-time medical assistant position with opportunities for on-site training and professional growth.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a medical clinic as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with the Athena EMR system is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care and confidentiality
• Ability to act calmly in busy or stressful situations
• Ability to prioritize patient needs
• Spoken and written fluency in English and Medical terminology
• Knowledge of authorizations, prior authorizations, and referrals

Responsibilities Include:

• Room and triage patients quickly and accurately
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy regulations and practice policies
• Managing phone calls and patient communications through voicemail and patient portal
• Accurately document patient information, treatments, communications, and services in medical records
• Maintain professional conduct, attendance, punctuality, and appearance standards
• Supporting daily clinic operations
