What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Office Receptionist position at Family Allergy & Asthma Consultants?
- Family Allergy & Asthma Consultants is a practice consisting of 6 providers and 5 locations throughout Jacksonville, FL.
- Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Providing instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for their visit
- Confirm patient appointments
- Insurance verification (for follow up visits)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills as well as proper phone etiquette
- Uphold confidentiality standards and HIPAA requirements
- Ideally with prior medical receptionist experience and EMR experience (our practice uses eCW)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
