What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD (Substance Use Disorder) Counselor position at Family Access Center?
Family Access Center is looking for a Substance Use Disorder/Addictions Counselor in the Council Bluffs office.
This position is Monday through Friday and requires the ability to work 3-4 evenings per week until 8 pm.
- Provide substance abuse assessments, treatment planning, and discharge of clients.
- Make clinical recommendations.
- Follow ASAM criteria.
- Submit insurance authorizations.
- Provide individual and group substance abuse therapy.
This position is Monday through Friday and requires the ability to work 3-4 evenings per week until 8pm. Ability to earn monthly incentive based on productivity.
Temporary CADC, CADC, IADC or IAADC License in Iowa.
