This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist with Radiology billing experience based in Tustin, CA. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for processing medical claims, handling denials, working with ICD-10 codes, managing insurance claims, and liaising with Medicare. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and verifying billing data, interacting with patients and insurance providers, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 codes
- Experience handling Denials and managing Insurance claims
- Familiarity with Medicare billing processes
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing billing data
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
- Experience in a healthcare setting and radiology billing is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing is preferred
