Counselor

This position allows you the flexibility to determine your schedule and caseload. You can work in a clinical office setting and provide telehealth services through our secure, HIPPA compliant network.

Job requirements include:

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Current license of LPC or provisionally licensed working towards LPC or LICSW, LCSW or LGSW who is willing and able to become licensed in the state of West Virginia.
• Strong desire to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Maintaining personal liability insurance.
• Knowledge of diverse therapy techniques.
• 2 years' experience as a therapist preferred.
• Preferred experience or willingness to learn about addiction treatment.

Skills needed for the position:

• Ability to maintain timely clinical records including clinical intake assessments, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Knowledge of how to diagnose clients.
• Experience in providing evidence-based modalities of treatment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team in a supportive work environment.
• Knowledge of various technologies including computers, using an electronic health record, email, Word, printer, etc.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and strong ethical standards.
