This position allows you the flexibility to determine your schedule and caseload. You can work in a clinical office setting and provide telehealth services through our secure, HIPPA compliant network.
Job requirements include:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Current license of LPC or provisionally licensed working towards LPC or LICSW, LCSW or LGSW who is willing and able to become licensed in the state of West Virginia.
- Strong desire to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Maintaining personal liability insurance.
- Knowledge of diverse therapy techniques.
- 2 years' experience as a therapist preferred.
- Preferred experience or willingness to learn about addiction treatment.
Skills needed for the position:
- Ability to maintain timely clinical records including clinical intake assessments, progress notes and treatment plans.
- Knowledge of how to diagnose clients.
- Experience in providing evidence-based modalities of treatment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team in a supportive work environment.
- Knowledge of various technologies including computers, using an electronic health record, email, Word, printer, etc.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and strong ethical standards.
