Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows
- Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft project or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost forecasts and resource allocations
- Oversee site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently on construction sites with relevant experience in civil site management
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam
- Conduct regular site inspections, coordinate with subcontractors, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track
- Ensure all project activities align with contractual obligations while maintaining high standards of quality control
Skills
- Proven experience in civil construction management with strong knowledge of construction site operations
- Proficiency in project management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Civil 3D
- Skilled in construction estimating techniques and tools like HeavyBid for accurate budgeting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively
- Strong understanding of contracts, legal requirements, and safety regulations within the construction industry
