Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher to join our team at Teaticket Elementary School in East Falmouth, MA. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons that inspire a love of learning in students. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues, supporting diverse learning needs, and fostering a positive classroom environment. This on-site position requires active participation in school-wide events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction
- Knowledge of educational technologies and ability to integrate them effectively into teaching
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for students of all backgrounds
- Ability to use data to inform instruction and support student growth
- Massachusetts teaching certification in Elementary Education (or equivalent)
- Experience in curriculum development and standards-based assessments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
