Job Description
Our Carpenter Helpers are detail-oriented, excellent at teamwork, able to work with little to no supervision, and have great communication and time management skills. They must have experience in the construction industry or similar trade.
· Help bring in tools to the job site
· Help set wall cabinets/hold in place to secure to the wall
· Help make chalk lines/level
· Help remove doors off cabinets before hanging
· Help install products
· Put doors back on shelves/cabinets after install
· Put hardware on cabinets/product
· Clean up cabinets after install
· Apply fast caps where needed
· Cut materials (based on skill/experience)
· Help load and unload trucks
· Move materials and help hold materials
· Help set wall panels
Qualifications
- Preferred 3 years experience in carpentry/construction or similar
- Ability to lift and move 50-75lbs
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to pass a drug test and security background screen
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Preferred - Clean driving record & Valid Driver's License
Work Location
- Employees must be able to commute to the company building at 1654 Robin Circle Forest Hill, MD 21050
- Helpers/Laborers ride along with the Carpenter lead or meet them at the jobsite
- Employees must be willing and able to travel to and from the company building and jobsites if a company van is not available
Job Type and Schedule
- Full Time, Hourly
- Monday-Friday 6am-2:30p
- Hours will shift based on needs of the business
- Employees must be prepared to work earlier or later times as needed
- Occasional overtime and weekend hours
