Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC methodologies
- Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams
- Monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk) and implement SPC improvements
- Support APQP and PPAP submissions for new product launches
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
- Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends to drive continuous improvement
- Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949)
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to improve quality performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
- 2 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of SPC, GD&T, and statistical analysis
- Experience with ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Minitab experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Experience in stamping, welding, or metal fabrication
- CMM experience is a Plus
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
