The HR Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of AWG’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, supports HR processes, manages system workflows, and serves as the primary technical resource for HR technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with HR systems, and the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, Payroll, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
HRIS Administration & Support
- Serve as the system administrator for AWG’s HRIS and related platforms (ATS, LMS, performance management, payroll and benefits).
- Maintain system configuration, workflows, security roles, and data tables.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvements.
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy of employee data through routine audits and quality checks.
- Develop, maintain, and automate HR reports and dashboards for leadership and operational managers.
- Support HR, payroll, safety, compliance, and operations with data and analytics requests.
- Maintain data governance and security standards.
Process Optimization
- Partner with HR leaders to automate and streamline processes such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, performance reviews, compensation changes, and employee lifecycle tasks.
- Document processes and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
- Lead or assist with HR technology projects, upgrades, and system integrations.
Training & User Support
- Provide training, guidance, and system support to HR team members, managers, and employees.
- Create and deliver training content, quick reference guides, and communications related to system enhancements or process changes.
- Ensure consistent adoption and usability across all AWG locations.
- Payroll Processing
- Serve as backup to payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience required.
- 3 years of HRIS administration experience required (e.g., UKG, ADP, Paycom, Workday, Paylocity, etc.).
- 3 years automated Payroll experience required.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
- Occasional travel to AWG locations may be required.
.Preferred Skills:
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now platform, highly preferred
- Experience supporting distributed or multi-location operations.
- Knowledge of HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compensation, time & attendance, and performance management.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, or SQL queries.
- Project management or change management experience.
