American Welding & Gas Company is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative in our South Division headquarters in Lexington, KY.
This key role will provide superior customer service and focus on the specific needs of each customer, and with the support of other team members promote long-term relationships and an outstanding customer service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming telephone calls, faxes, emails and provide a variety of services to the customer via multiple platforms (phone, email, SPS, Amazon, ECommerce, etc.)
- Directly address customer requests/concerns for the entire company and/or efficiently route those inquiries accordingly
- Monitor sales generate reporting and schedule services for customers in support of TICE operations (when applicable)
- Monitor sales generate reporting and schedule services for customers in support of BULK operations (when applicable)
- Accurate and efficient entry and distribution of all customer orders
- Align daily tasks and long-term goals in support of the AWG sales team, Specialty Gas, A/R, procurement, operations and branch management company wide
- Participate in self-directed work team environment
- Additional duties and special research or administrative projects as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required / Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior customer service experience a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook and Excel)
- Adapt easily to new software, multiple information management dashboards
