American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for CDL B Delivery Driver in Lafayette, IN. If you have a Class B CDL, Hazmat & AirBrake Endorsements, and a clean driving record, this is an opportunity you need to pursue!
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling.
- Driving a vehicle.
- Repetitive movement.
- Operating motorized equipment.
- Sitting; standing; walking.
- Working indoor/outdoor as business needs.
- Working at increased noise levels.
- Safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100 pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment, and company-administered road test.
- Ability to communicate with customers. Drug-free work environment.

- Comply with all DOT OSHA Regulations.
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
- Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork, including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
