American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. This position requires a Class B CDL with Air Brakes & HazMat endorsements.
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving and storing of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accuraely.
**Out of town routes, requiring 3-4 overnight stays per week. Hotel provided. Home on the weekends. Evening meal per diem provided**

Duties: This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
- Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Comply with all DOT OSHA Regulations
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
- Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Class A CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrakes endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Able to read and write English
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100 pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Ground Assessment and company administered road test
- Ability to communicate with customers.
