Responsibilities
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers to maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including tree trimming, shrub pruning, hardscape installation, and gardening tasks.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with construction projects such as installing hardscapes or new landscape features when required.
Qualifications
- Experience operating commercial mowers
- Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture or gardening practices.
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning.
- Prior experience in landscaping or hardscape installation is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials when necessary.
