The Fallon Tribal Health Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and nursing staff in delivering quality patient care. This position assists with patient preparation, clinical procedures, laboratory testing, care coordination, and medical documentation in a collaborative outpatient healthcare environment.
Pay & Benefits
Starting Hourly Pay: $20.56 - $24.55

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during appointments.
- Perform laboratory testing, specimen collection, venipuncture, EKGs, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
- Administer immunizations and injections as directed.
- Coordinate patient follow-up care and assist with patient communication.
- Maintain accurate medical records and support electronic health record documentation.
- Ensure exam rooms, laboratory equipment, and supplies are properly maintained.
- Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
- Support efficient clinic operations through teamwork and patient-centered service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant education or certification program required.
- Three (3) years of clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and HIPAA requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
