Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using advanced scan tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and wheel alignments to optimize handling and safety standards.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring modern vehicle safety features function correctly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly, estimating costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software tools.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with technical proficiency in diagnosing complex vehicle issues.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or diesel engines is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Valid certifications in automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
