The Superintendent of Schools announces the following positions to support students in the Extended School Year (ESY) program this summer.
Special Education Clerk ESY Program
Extended School Year Program
DATES: 7/5/2023-8/3/2023
HOURS: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm = 5 hours per day
4 days per week Monday thru Thursday
TITLE: ESY Special Education Clerk
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in working with various software applications (e.g. MicroSoft Office, X2, Google mail/doc’s)
- Basic knowledge of office machine’s (copier, fax, scanner)
- Demonstrated positive rapport in working collaboratively with others
REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator/Program Director
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:These responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated ability to collect, process and maintain confidential data related to staff and/or students
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others and to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare official correspondence, maintain filing system for confidential staffing records and files (e.g. personnel, medical, transportation)
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others (including Parents, Teachers, Paraprofessionals and other personnel) within an educational office environment
- Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Program Director/Site Coordinator
- Coordinate transportation needs on a day to day basis
- Track attendance sheets, daily
