Proven oral and written communication skills Significant attention to detail, and the ability to work collegially with a wide variety of individuals inside and outside the program Valid driver’s license Pass all necessary background checks Job Profile The Nurse reports directly to the Nurse Manager and is a member of the overall agency team providing direct services to youth and their families. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Medication administration Triage of medical needs of the youth in the program Assistance with health record maintenance Direct resident supervision Utilize and implement behavior support techniques Reporting on youth quarterly progress towards health care goals Scheduling and attending health care appointments Review immunization records, order and administer necessary immunization Health care education to youth Participate in intakes of youth to the program Monitor weight and nutrition need status of youth Participate in the on call rotation *On-call rotation required* The Fall River Deaconess Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
