Marketing & Special Events Assistant (Part-Time)
Fall Line Brewing Company — Macon, GA
Fall Line Brewing Company is a production brewery and taproom in downtown Macon. We make good beer for good people who love trying new things, and we're a family-owned business that's been at it since 2020. Beyond our 12,000 sq/ft taproom and beer garden, we also run a 12,000 sq/ft event venue, Fall Line Station, and our sister businesses, Just Tap'd and The Overlook on First.
We're looking for a Marketing & Special Events Assistant to give hands-on support to our Director of Marketing & Community Engagement across all four businesses. Whether it's a beer release, bar crawl, food special launch, vendor market, or community event, you'll help bring the experience to life through both marketing and event support. One day you're creating graphics, photographing a new beverage, or scheduling social posts. The next you're organizing event materials, setting up decor, or capturing content on-site. This role blends creative work behind the scenes with hands-on support at our events.
Hours: Minimum of 15 hours per week Schedule: Flexible, including occasional evenings and weekends for special events Pay: Hourly, based on experience
What You'll Do
Marketing & Social Media
- Capture high-quality photos and videos on your iPhone for social media and marketing
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
- Design graphics in Canva, including event posters, story graphics, menus, and signage
- Schedule and publish approved social media content
- Monitor social accounts and respond to comments, DMs, and customer inquiries
- Help maintain content calendars and keep promotional deadlines on track
- Keep our brand consistent across all marketing materials
Events & Marketing Operations
- Help set up, run, and break down restaurant and venue events
- Organize, transport, and maintain event supplies, signage, decor, and marketing equipment
- Assist with event check-in, guest experience, and vendor coordination
- Gather props, merchandise, and materials for photoshoots and marketing campaigns
- Support community events, festivals, beer releases, markets, and more
- Represent the Fall Line brands professionally at all events and public appearances
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Canva and in taking/editing high-quality iPhone photos and videos
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends
- Comfortable with Google Workspace
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and your own smartphone and laptop
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and help with physical event setup and breakdown
- A creative eye balanced with strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable balancing desk work with hands-on event work
- Positive, dependable, and eager to learn
Nice to have: Experience in marketing, social media, hospitality, events, or customer service. Experience with Meta Business Suite or social scheduling tools. A passion for local events, craft beer, and community engagement.
