Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with state standards and fosters artistic expression.
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Introduce students to a variety of art materials, techniques, and processes.
Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and respect.
- Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
- Manage classroom resources, including art supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used responsibly and efficiently.
Student Engagement & Development:
- Foster a love for art and encourage students to experiment and take risks in their artistic endeavors.
- Guide students in developing their own artistic voice and in expressing their emotions and ideas through art.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills and confidence.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with developments in art education, including new techniques, technologies, and educational practices.
- Attend and contribute to faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school improvement initiatives.
Salary commensurate with related experience.
