Art Teacher - Elementary School Level - 2026-2027 School Year

Fall Brook Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will inspire and nurture creativity in elementary students, helping them to express themselves through various art forms. This position requires excellent organizational skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine enthusiasm for art education.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction & Curriculum Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with state standards and fosters artistic expression.
• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Introduce students to a variety of art materials, techniques, and processes. 

Classroom Management:

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and respect.
• Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
• Manage classroom resources, including art supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used responsibly and efficiently.

Student Engagement & Development:

• Foster a love for art and encourage students to experiment and take risks in their artistic endeavors.
• Guide students in developing their own artistic voice and in expressing their emotions and ideas through art.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills and confidence.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with developments in art education, including new techniques, technologies, and educational practices.
• Attend and contribute to faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school improvement initiatives.
