Overview
We are seeking a motivated Monitoring Technician to join our team. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to assist with fire and water damage restoration, mold removal, asbestos abatement, and general cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of affected areas following fire, water, or mold damage
- Support restoration projects by preparing sites for remediation activities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely during various tasks
- Perform mold remediation and asbestos abatement under supervision
- Use carpet cleaning equipment and techniques for affected flooring
- Aid in the removal of debris and hazardous materials in compliance with safety standards
- Support construction-related activities as needed during restoration projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, or use of hand and power tools is a plus
- Experience with construction or carpet cleaning is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures are essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
