Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney with 5 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical malpractice area of law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a well established Law Firm.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings.
- Take and defend depositions
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery.
- Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
- Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
- Manage case files and documentation efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Malpractice experience, preferably defense.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using tools like Westlaw.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
