BIM/VDC Coordinator

Falewitch Construction and Falewitch Prefab are seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) / Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Coordinator to support the design, coordination, and prefabrication of interior and exterior wall systems.

This position will work closely with project managers, field teams, and our prefabrication facility to develop constructible 3D models, shop drawings, and fabrication-ready documentation using Revit and MWF (Metal Wood Framer).

The BIM / VDC Coordinator will also participate in coordination meetings with clients and trade partners, helping drive projects forward through technology, modeling, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Coordination

• Develop and maintain Revit models for interior and exterior wall systems
• Utilize MWF (Metal Wood Framer) plug-in within Revit to model cold-formed metal framing systems
• Participate in internal BIM meetings and project coordination meetings with clients and trade partners
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks
• Manage models and coordination data within Autodesk BIM 360 / AutodeskConstruction Cloud

Shop Drawings & Documentation

• Produce detailed shop drawings and model-based construction documentation
• Prepare accurate and constructible drawings for field installation
• Ensure models align with contract documents, architectural models, and project coordination models

Prefabrication Support

• Create fabrication tickets and assembly documentation for the Falewitch Prefab facility
• Work closely with prefab operations to ensure models translate efficiently to manufacturing
• Support the integration of prefabrication workflows into project modeling

Field Support

• Provide model-based support to field teams and project managers
• Assist with solving coordination challenges using 3D modeling and visualization
• Support constructability and planning through model-based collaboration

Qualifications

Required

• Experience with Autodesk Revit
• Familiarity with Dynamo, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with MWF (Metal Wood Framer) or similar Revit framing software
• Knowledge of cold-formed metal framing systems
• Experience in commercial construction, interior systems, or façade systems
• Exposure to prefabrication or modular construction workflows
• Degree or training in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
