Job Summary

The Energy Efficiency Monitoring Assistant is responsible for supporting the monitoring, data collection, and analysis of energy usage within an enterprise or institution to promote energy efficiency improvements and reduce energy consumption and emissions. This position is a crucial foundational role in energy management, sustainable development, and facilities optimization.

Main Responsibilities

I. Energy Data Collection and Monitoring

Assist in collecting energy usage data (electricity, water, gas, etc.) for buildings, factories, or facilities;

Use energy monitoring systems or instruments for real-time data acquisition;

Regularly organize and update energy data;

Identify abnormal consumption and potential energy-saving opportunities.

II. Data Analysis and Reporting

Assist in basic analysis and visualization of energy data;

Support energy efficiency assessment, energy consumption comparison, and trend analysis;

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly energy usage reports;

Provide basic data support for energy consumption improvement suggestions.

III. Energy System and Tool Support

Maintain data using energy management software or monitoring platforms;

Assist in the daily inspection of energy meters, sensors, and monitoring equipment;

Coordinate data uploading, calibration, and testing of energy management systems;

Assist in the maintenance of energy monitoring tools and instruments.

IV. Energy Saving and Sustainable Development Project Support

Assist in the implementation of energy efficiency improvement projects;

Support pilot projects or data verification of energy-saving technologies and green solutions;

Assist in cross-departmental communication to promote the implementation of energy-saving measures;

Support data preparation required for energy audits and certifications.

V. Documentation and Compliance Management

Maintain energy data records and operational documents;

Assist in energy audits, compliance checks, and report preparation;

Adhere to company energy management policies and environmental regulations;

Support energy management process optimization and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Education Background

Associate's degree or above in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related field.

Work Experience

0-2 years of experience in energy management, energy-saving projects, engineering, or facilities management;

Outstanding recent graduates will be considered.

Professional Skills

Basic data analysis skills and logical thinking;

Proficiency in office software and basic data processing tools;

Understanding of energy metering, monitoring instruments, or energy management systems;

Attention to detail and data accuracy. Bonus Points

Experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or green building projects;

Knowledge of ISO 50001 energy management systems or energy conservation regulations;

Familiarity with sensors, smart energy monitoring equipment, and system operation;
