Recreation Manager – Full-Time / Exempt
Falcons Landing is a premier Life Plan Retirement Community just west of Washington, D.C., offering top tier living and healthcare services in a caring, not-for-profit environment.
We are seeking a Recreation Manager to lead our Healthcare Recreation Department. This role develops, organizes, and manages engaging recreational and therapeutic programs for residents in our nursing and assisted living units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead diverse recreational and social programs
- Supervise recreation staff and volunteers
- Develop individualized resident activity plans
- Build community partnerships and recruit volunteers
- Manage department budgets and compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of recreation or therapeutic programming experience
- 1–2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexible schedule (some weekends/holidays required)
Compensation & Benefits:
