Position Summary:
The Project Manager shall provide guidance and function expertise in strategic planning and partnering with the METC commandant and staff in the areas of project management and performance metrics, and shall provide consolation, guidance, and functional expertise in developing and identifying performance measurements to find trends and cost-saving measures for METC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the METC Strategic Initiatives Project Portfolio and facilitate Strategic Planning Goal team meetings.
- Create, manage, and maintain the METC Strategic Planning and Partnering Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using MS Project.
- Principle advisor to METC on all issues involving planning and operations, and benefits of the IMS.
- Meet regularly with key staff to keep IMS updated, and to make recommendations that shall provide ongoing improvements to the organization.
- Provide monthly IMS strategic activities and performance reporting to METC Senior Leadership.
- Maintain, develop, and direct activities for performance measures utilizing Tableau Creator software with an oval status of projects.
- Principle advisor to METC on all issues involving planning and operations, and benefits of the IMS.
- Meet regularly with key staff to keep IMS updated, and to make recommendations that shall provide ongoing improvements to the organization.
- Provide monthly IMS strategic activities and performance reporting to METC Senior Leadership, manage and maintain the METC Strategic Planning and Partnering Integrated.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of activities of strategic initiatives, monitoring, and product status updates, including maintaining and managing the IMS using MS Project.
- Provide overall consultation, and advisement to staff and key Senior Leadership on workflow and process improvements, through the utilization of SharePoint, and integration with Tableau Creator software.
- Provide overall consultation, manage, and supervise Data Analyst(s) in the development of metrics, and performance measures utilizing Tableau Creator software.
- Submit Monthly report.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s 14 years of work experience
- Master’s 10 years of work experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

- Acutely familiar with details of projects and the respective purposes relating to the mission of the organization.
- Think strategically while able to execute operational and tactical requirements.
- Provide long-range planning to forecast training needs that promote a high-performing organization.
- Work with multiple functional areas of expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work with multiple functional areas and levels of expertise, and ability to identify and mitigate risk.
- Basic knowledge of computer equipment and the assigned area of system software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to incorporate programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
