Job Summary:
As a Homemaker Supervisor assistant, you will be responsible for managing a team of homemakers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services to clients in their homes. You will coordinate schedules, conduct training, and provide ongoing support to homemakers to ensure they meet the needs and preferences of clients while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule and assign homemakers to client cases based on needs and availability.
- Conduct regular supervision meetings and provide feedback to homemakers.
- Ensure compliance with care plans and regulatory requirements.
- Orient new homemakers to their roles, responsibilities, and company policies.
- Provide ongoing training and education to homemakers on caregiving techniques, safety protocols, and client-specific needs.
- Support professional development and growth opportunities for homemakers.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and revise care plans.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Conduct home visits to assess client needs and ensure quality of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client care, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and company policies.
- Manage supplies and equipment needed for homemaking services.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of homemaking services.
- Participate in performance reviews and contribute to program development.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Conforms to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
- Participates actively in continuing education and in-services.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices
- Assumes accountability for reporting incidents and complaints according to Agency policy.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma, required. Associates degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in home care or related field with supervisory experience preferred
- License / Certification: Current driver’s license and proof of auto liability
Environmental Conditions:
Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and emotional demands.
Physical Requirements: Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel.
