INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale to roughly $90mm within 1-2 years.
- Work cooperatively with the CRO to drive improvement of lead quality and mid-funnel conversion.
- Focus on sales enablement to support a growing customer base, with significant opportunity to drive upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts, ranging from simple messaging tools to more strategic marketing support.
- Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrages.
THE SPONSOR: This New York-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include software and IT, business services, consumer brands, healthcare, specialty manufacturing, and distribution. Today the sponsor owns 143 portfolio companies and has $14B in cumulative capital commitments.
