Job Description
Falcon Papers & Plastics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift & Clamp Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving paper rolls, pallets, and other materials throughout our facility while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and place them in designated storage locations.
- Load outbound trucks accurately and securely.
- Move products, pallets, and paper rolls throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report shortages or quality issues.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory and activity records.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with warehouse organization, housekeeping, and general operations.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely shipments and receipts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts; clamp truck experience strongly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience in a warehouse, paper, packaging, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
