Position Overview
The Retail Banking Supervisor partners with the Director of Retail and Market President to maintain efficient daily branch operations, support process development and improvement, and ensure consistency in service delivery, while also leading the team, fostering a positive environment aligned with the Bank’s Mission, Vision, and Values, providing exceptional customer service, proactively promoting products and services to meet goals, and maintaining a professional and courteous presence that reflects positively on the Bank.
Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and hold accountable the Retail Banking team.
- Oversees training and supervises duties of retail bankers, coordinating their workflow and schedules and assisting on teller line.
- Lead recurring department meetings to ensure clear communication for retail staff.
- Maintains overall control and accountability for overall vault reconcilement and periodically audits individual cash drawers of each teller and maintains such documentation of audit.
- Ensures that retail bankers are trained on all Federal regulations and requirements and that they follow all policies, procedures, and compliance issues.
- Works with branch personnel to improve cross selling and balancing skills and to provide updates on policy and procedure changes.
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints, and researches customer situations to resolve issues involving fees, loan servicing, etc.
- Maintaining adequate staffing levels to fulfill customer needs and community engagement events.
- Maintain well-developed knowledge of all products and services to understand and fulfill customer needs.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and equip retail staff with training on cross-selling techniques.
- Actively participate in new business growth by making outside calls and/or accompanying other employees on calls to new prospects and current customers.
- Balance operational controls in order to minimize risk to the company. Performs surprise cash audits, including ATM audits. Perform pre and post-closing peer reviews of loans originated by branch staff.
- Replenish and reconcile all cash boxes/canisters designated.
- Administer and maintain all safe deposit boxes.
- Provides effective backup to the teller line as needed.
- Provide coverage for other locations, as necessary.
- Ensures branch look is upheld, spaces are tidy and marketing and customer materials are properly displayed per marketing standards.
- Performs branch opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Actively participate in community based/business development activities within communities to promote Falcon National Bank.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 5 years previous bank experience, required.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
