Position Overview
The Commercial Processing Department delivers exceptional customer service by responding to loan inquiries via phone, email, and in person with knowledgeable and friendly support, while managing the origination and fulfillment of loans through closing. In this environment the Commercial Processor II is responsible for document processing and fulfillment of all commercial and SBA loans, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed or received in compliance with loan policies and procedures. This role oversees loan processing from origination through closing, maintaining transaction integrity, perfection, and timely fulfillment, and works collaboratively with Business Bankers and other bank departments to ensure smooth workflows and effective customer loan support. All duties are performed with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Process commercial and SBA loans.
- Provide accurate document processing of all commercial purpose loans, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations from the point of origination through post-closing.
- Partner with third parties to obtain title work, ordering of flood determinations, and any other necessary documents to assist with loan processing.
- Ensure timely delivery to all parties involved in the loan closings of document preparation.
- Ensure all commercial loans meet regulatory and bank policy requirements.
- Identify and escalate any issues or discrepancies in documentation.
- New loan data entry, including escrow set-up, loan file completion, indexing, and maintenance
- Monitoring of incoming financial information, indexing, and tickler maintenance
- Assist in the development and implementation of daily processes and make recommendations for process improvements, including writing and updating procedures
- Process daily transactions & payments in an efficient and timely manner, with optimum accuracy
- Construction Draw processing and tracking
- Process and track of loan denials & withdrawn loan requests
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for commercial documentation and booking and maintaining loans in Core
- Review and quality checks loan files
- Assist with training and education; work cooperatively with department manager to identify training gaps
- Assist in auditing system entries for accuracy and ensure documents align with system setup.
- Handle special projects as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of similar or related professional experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear, timely, and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a client-focused approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and bank-specific software systems
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all current and prospective bank client information

This position will have the flexibility to work from any FNB location.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
