Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Conduct accurate order picking with RF scanners to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and load & unload machinery to move materials within the warehouse.
• Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying inventory accuracy and preparing items for dispatch or storage.
• Handle materials with care during heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are followed to prevent injury.
• Maintain detailed records of materials movement using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Support warehouse leadership in daily operations by organizing stock, conducting safety inspections, and optimizing space utilization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail for order picking and inventory accuracy using RF scanners or similar technology.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for candidates interested in advancing into leadership roles. This role is paid and designed for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-moving warehouse environment!

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessary.
• Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels.
• Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, and dirt

Hours/Shifts:

• Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours 8:00am - 4:30pm
• May require a Saturday or Sunday shift (Shift differential $2.00 per hour)
• Hours may vary with order volume fluctuation.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
