Order Fulfillment Lead Job Overview:
The Order Fulfillment Lead is responsible for overseeing daily outbound order fulfillment operations. This role ensures that all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with client and company standards. The Fulfillment Lead serves as a hands-on leader, coordinating warehouse associates, supporting process improvements, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient fulfillment operation.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to speak and read English.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of order pickers, packers, and shipping associates to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Assign and balance workloads across team members to ensure timely order processing.
- Monitor order accuracy, quality, and productivity throughout the shift.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for order fulfillment issues, errors, or process breakdowns.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, orders per hour, and on-time shipment percentage.
- Promote and enforce all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain punctual attendance and follow direction provided by warehouse management.

Hours/Shifts:
- Hours: Thursday – Sunday 7:00am – Finish (6:00 or earlier depending on order volume)
- Saturday or Sunday shift (Shift differential $2.00 per hour additional to your base pay)
- Hours may vary with order volume fluctuation.
Pay Range:
· $19-22 per hour based on experience.
· Monthly Performance bonus available.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred.
- 2 years of warehouse or fulfillment experience required, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role (3PL experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with WMS systems, RF scanners, and order management systems.
- Experience working with multiple clients/products in a 3PL environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands, as necessary.
- Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels.
Special Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background check.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
