Location: Mesa, AZ 85212
Pay: $16 – $18 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Four-day Schedule, 6:00AM – 4:30PM; overtime available
About Us:
Phoenix Manufacturing is a precision CNC machining / contract manufacturing shop in Mesa, AZ, making parts for industries, e.g., aerospace, medical, automotive. We're a team that values hard work, safety and doing the job right. We're looking for a dependable General Laborer to support our production floor.
What You'll Do:
- Laser Part-Marking of machine parts
- Deburr, sand, wash, and clean machined parts
- Help run CNC machines: load parts, start cycles and unload, with training and supervision
- Check parts with calipers and gauges after training
- Cut stock to length on band saws
- Clear chips from machines, empty chip bins and top off coolant
- Package and label finished parts for shipping
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Follow work orders and instructions carefully
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
- Able to read work instructions and do basic math, including fractions and decimals
- Reliable attendance. Showing up on time matters here.
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Committed to following safety rules and wearing PPE (safety glasses and steel-toe shoes)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse or construction work
- Experience with a tape measure or calipers
- Forklift certification
- Interest in learning CNC machining as a career

Work Environment:
This is a shop floor around running machines, coolant, oils, and metal chips. Noise levels may require hearing protection. Shop temperatures vary by season.
