Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Electronics Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gaming machines at customer locations throughout Harlingen and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable driving to multiple locations each day, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Because our customers rely on their equipment, technicians must be flexible and available to respond to service needs outside of normal business hours when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the assigned route.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move gaming equipment when necessary.
- Basic computer and mobile device skills.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service calls as needed.
- Be available to work weekends and holidays when business needs require.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in field service, electronics, maintenance, IT support, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience with gaming machines, vending machines, ATMs, kiosks, or similar equipment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Basic networking knowledge (Ethernet, routers, switches, and IP addresses) is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and service procedures.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete company training.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
