Job Summary
Falcon Design and Construction, LLC is hiring an experienced Carpenter/laborer for full-time, or contract, on-site work across Central Florida. This role is ideal for a skilled carpenter who can manage job site tasks, and deliver high-quality work on residential and commercial renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry (wood & metal framing, trim, siding, concrete, etc.) work
- Complete selective demolition and general construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors and crew members
- Ensure work meets quality standards and safety requirements
- Assist with material coordination
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support both residential and commercial projects as needed
Requirements
- 2 years of carpentry experience (rough and finish preferred)
- Experience with:
- Wood and metal framing
- Siding (wood, composite, Hardie)
- Concrete patching
- Drywall hanging
- Ability to read and follow construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work occasional evening or overnight shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Plan reading skills
- Background in renovation or commercial construction
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
