CNC Mill & Lathe Programmers: 1st & 2nd shift: FT & PT

CNC MILL & LATHE PROGRAMMING & SETUP

Falcon CNC is seeking 5 AXIS CNC MILL PROGRAMMERS & CNC LATHE PROGRAMMERS to join our team. Falcon CNC LLC is a manufacturer of precision space components with a state-of-the-art new air conditioned facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• MIlls: Program 3, 4 & 5 axis components on Haas & other brands
• Lathes: Program components using live tooling on: Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Eurotech, Hwacheon, and Mori Seki CNC machines
• Work within close tolerances
• Determine tooling required and order
• Meet daily production goals
• Responsible for parts inspection and maintaining tooling
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform advanced set-ups with indicating, leveling, clamping, and blocking
• Program 3,4, & 5 axis components
• Work with exotic metals: inconel, titanium, Hastelloy...
• Operates the CNC machines under little or no supervision.
• Setup and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Position and secure work pieces on machines by using holding devices
• Remove and measure work pieces from machines
• To understand and ensure that parts must conform to specifications by reading engineer drawing and using measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, micrometers and microscopes
• Operate and perform all machine set ups and troubleshoot all tooling issues to produce high quality component parts and perform maintenance on the machine and tooling used.
• Perform quality inspection of components
• Read and interpret prints, routing, layouts, and related documents to produce component parts that meet design specifications in order to satisfy company quality standards.
• Set-up and operate all jobs routed to the assigned machines with no assistance and meet the production standard required for the given department.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and most machine repairs on assigned machines, and maintain proper coolant levels and concentrations on a daily basis.
• Troubleshoot all machine and tooling problems and correct as necessary
• QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Must be adept at using micrometers, snap gauges and other dimensional evaluation tools
• Must have a strong mechanical ability with solid experience in the field
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours, ability to lift and carry 100 pounds, able to work with some chemicals
• Must have strong math skills and be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Must be 18 years or over
• Must be a US citizen and able to acquire security clearance
• Prefer Mastercam experience
• Must have bidding experience
• Must have quality experience
• Must be able to do other duties as assigned

Full-time Schedule:

Shift 1: Monday - Thursday, 6 am-4:30 pm, 4/10

Shift 2 (night): Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm -2 am , 4/10

Shift 3 (weekend): Friday - Sunday, 6 am - 6:00 pm (3/36 *40 hrs paid)

Part-Time Schedule:

Work Environment: (*)

The work environment for this job is a manufacturing shop floor, which is heated and air conditioned. The noise level is usually high due to industrial machines. This position requires frequent walking, frequent standing, frequent lifting, lifting heavy objects, as well as sitting at a desk.

Physical Demands: (*)

The position requires that the employee is regularly required to stand, move, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use entire body as wells as fingers and hands. The employee is regularly required to life, stand; walk; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Specific physical abilities include abilities to move items in all directions with body, hands, and fingers.
