Faith Stone Design & Build is seeking an experienced Residential Painting Foreman to lead residential painting and light carpentry projects throughout the South Shore.

This is a full-time W-2 leadership position for a professional who can lead crews, maintain quality standards, communicate effectively, and help projects run efficiently from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects, leads by example, communicates well, solves problems, and consistently delivers high-quality workmanship.

PAY$27-$32 Per Hour (W-2)

Compensation is based on experience, leadership ability, reliability, communication, production, quality of work, and overall performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead residential interior and exterior painting projects
• Manage painters and laborers on site
• Plan daily work activities and maintain production goals
• Hold crew members accountable for quality, production, professionalism, and attendance
• Push projects forward while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Ensure proper preparation, repairs, sanding, caulking, priming, masking, and painting procedures are followed
• Perform quality-control inspections throughout projects
• Identify and solve jobsite issues before they become customer complaints
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and management
• Submit daily jobsite photos, videos, and project updates
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites
• Protect customer property, company equipment, and materials
• Work alongside the crew when necessary to keep projects moving forward

LIGHT CARPENTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This position requires more than painting.

Applicants must be comfortable performing common exterior carpentry repairs that are frequently encountered during residential painting projects.

Experience should include:

• Replacing rotted trim boards
• Replacing clapboards and siding boards
• Replacing corner boards
• Basic exterior wood repairs
• Identifying wood rot and moisture-related issues
• Measuring, cutting, and installing replacement materials
• Safe use of common carpentry tools

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION

Faith Stone Design & Build utilizes modern technology and systems to improve communication, accountability, scheduling, and project management.

Applicants must be comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and technology throughout the workday.

Responsibilities include:

• Clocking in and out through company software
• Uploading daily photos and videos
• Receiving schedules and work orders digitally
• Communicating through company apps
• Reviewing project scopes and notes electronically
• Providing regular progress updates

Applicants who are unwilling to use technology, communicate consistently, or follow company systems will not be a good fit.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years residential painting experience
• Previous foreman or crew leader experience preferred
• Strong residential painting knowledge
• Experience with spraying, brushing, rolling, prep work, and finish work
• Light carpentry experience required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to travel throughout the South Shore service area
• Ability to transport personal tools and work equipment
• Ability to carry and safely work from extension ladders
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of the South Shore

SCHEDULE & WORK AVAILABILITY

This is primarily residential painting work.

Applicants should understand that exterior painting is weather-dependent. Rain days and weather delays are a normal part of the industry and may occasionally impact scheduling and available hours.

Flexibility, professionalism, and a team-first attitude are important.
