About the Project
Company is producing a large-scale dramatized audio book project in Spanish and English audio bookrecordings. The project includes hundreds of roles, extensive post-production, and a high standard of script accuracy, audio quality, and final delivery.
We are seeking an experienced Audio QC Specialist / Pozotron Operator to support our post-production workflow by reviewing recorded audio, comparing it against approved scripts, identifying errors, and helping generate organized pickup reports for editors, producers, and talent.
Position Summary
The Audio QC Specialist will use Pozotron and other review tools to assist with first-pass audio proofing, script-to-audio comparison, pronunciation tracking, and pickup management. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, audiobook QC experience, and the ability to work accurately on long-form scripted audio content.
Because this is a Bible-based project, accuracy, consistency, and respect for the approved text are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and manage audio files and scripts within Pozotron.
- Compare recorded audio against approved scripts.
- Identify missed words, added words, misreads, skipped lines, repeated words, long pauses, and other inconsistencies.
- Review Pozotron-generated flags and determine which items require correction.
- Prepare clear pickup reports for editors, producers, and talent.
- Track pronunciation consistency for names, locations, and repeated terms.
- Work with Spanish and/or English audio files depending on project needs.
- Coordinate with the post-production team to confirm corrections and final QC status.
- Maintain organized documentation by book, chapter, character, and recording session.
- Help ensure final audio is accurate, clean, and ready for editing, mixing, mastering, and distribution.
Qualifications
- Experience with audiobook proofing, audio QC, narration review, or scripted audio production.
- Experience using Pozotron preferred.
- Strong ability to compare written scripts against recorded audio.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual Spanish/English ability is strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience with DAWs, pickup reports, audio post-production workflows, or long-form audio projects is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable reviewing large volumes of audio. You understand that AI tools like Pozotron are helpful for identifying potential issues, but human review is still required to confirm accuracy and context. You are comfortable working with producers, editors, and QC teams to help deliver a polished final product.
