THE OPPORTUNITY
Faith Promise Church is seeking a full-time Central Facilities Associate who is passionate about joining a team that is going to Win the World. You'll keep our campuses safe, functional, and excellent — performing maintenance, operating equipment, responding to ministry support needs, and empowering volunteers to serve alongside you. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and believes that well-kept facilities are part of effective ministry.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
•Schedule and perform periodic maintenance of facilities and equipment across all campuses, in accordance with maintenance guidelines.
•Operate church vehicles and equipment — including scissor lifts and trailers — as a regular part of daily work.
•Coordinate with contractors to ensure facilities and equipment are in proper working order.
•Monitor and respond to support requests from ministries and campuses, traveling between campuses to address facility needs.
•Create solutions that promote both good stewardship of our facilities and effective ministry across departments and campuses.
•Assist the Facilities Manager in identifying, recruiting, and empowering volunteers to complete facility projects.
SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION DESIGNATION
This position is designated safety-sensitive because driving church vehicles and operating equipment are core functions of the job and is subject to the Faith Promise Church Safety-Sensitive Position Drug, Alcohol, and Medication Safety Policy, including pre-employment screening following a conditional offer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the church's approved-driver standards
•Ability to safely operate a scissor lift
•Ability to lift heavy objects of 75 lbs.
•Working knowledge of tools and understanding of what tools are needed to complete tasks
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Personal faith commitment to Jesus Christ
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Previous experience with facility maintenance and/or construction
•Previous experience driving trailers
•Previous experience recruiting and leading volunteers
POSITION DETAILS
•Full-time, non-exempt | 40 hours per week
•Reports to: Facilities Manager
•Location: Central Support, Knoxville, Tennessee, with regular travel to all campuses
